Our uniform
Scouts wear a smart uniform made up of a shirt, navy cargo trousers and a group neckerchief.
Your first night at Scouts
When joining, you will be placed into a patrol usually with someone you know already, perhaps from school, if you do or do not know any Scouts you will be given a Patrol Leader to look after you.
In your first four weeks at Scouts you will join in all the fun activities.
The leaders will help you come to know the Scout troop ceremonies, get to know the leaders and members in the troop. Find out about activities available in the troop.
• Know and understand the Scout Promise and Motto
• Learn the Scout handshake
• Know the meaning of the badges that you will receive at the investiture ceremony.
• The general knowledge of the family of Scouts, world-wide Scouting and the history of Scouting
The next stage is to become a Scout by making the Promise.
