The Scout Programme
The Scout Leaders set weekly structured programmes with agreement from the Patrol Leaders. Scouts will always have a fun packed, fast moving evening. At the same time developing skills for life.
The leaders encourage Scouts to make suggestions for games and activities. Make time to share their news and views. They accept Scouts as they are, celebrating their achievements and emerging talents, supporting their weaknesses and needs.
Days Out
Scouts also take part in District / County Competitions, Camps, Days out and Fun Events with other Scouts in Southport District and the surrounding area.
They will enjoy outings and have visitors of interest come to the troop. Scouts can take part in pretty much anything but it will always be an experience, and fun packed, you are only limited by your imagination.
The Leaders
The leadership team is made up of a Scout Leader and Assistant Scout Leaders who are all fully trained. They may also have Helpers and Young Leaders.
Many parents get involved and join the leadership team and go on to become leaders, helpers or occasional helpers. All leaders/parents involved with the Troop will fill in a Criminal Record Check form before an offer of help can be accepted.
