Scouts - The full story
Age:
Scouts are boys and girls age 10 ½ - 14 years of age, we are the most vital section of the Scout movement.
Our place in the Scouting Family Tree:
We belong to a Group, which is usually made up of a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and a Scout Troop. All sections meeting at different times.
When we meet:
We meet for approximate. 1 hour – 1 ½ a week depending on which troop you decide to join. We have 9 troops in Southport and there is a troop to suit all, as they meet 1 night a week somewhere across the district. Within Southport, there are two Sea Scout Troops and an Air Scout Troop, who give a watery or aerial slant to Scouting respectively.
